ARRIVE BEIJING

Upon your arrival in Beijing, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and some time to relax after your journey. BEIJING

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before setting out on a guided tour of Beijing’s most iconic landmarks. Your first stop is Tiananmen Square, one of the world’s largest public squares, rich in historical significance and home to the Monument to the People’s Heroes. Next, explore the Forbidden City, the former imperial residence of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Wander through its grand courtyards, magnificent halls—including the Hall of Supreme Harmony—and beautifully designed gardens as you uncover over 600 years of royal history. BEIJING

After breakfast, proceed to Juyongguan Great Wall, a serene and less crowded section of the Great Wall—perfect for a peaceful and comfortable hiking experience. (Note: There is no cable car here, so we recommend wearing good walking shoes.) Stroll along the ancient stone pathways, soak in sweeping mountain views, and learn about the Wall’s historic role in China’s defense system.

Continue your tour with a visit to a local Jade Factory, where you’ll discover the craftsmanship behind Chinese jade—from raw stone shaping to detailed carving. You may also browse beautifully crafted jade jewelry and decorative pieces.

Enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a restaurant near the Great Wall, offering a refreshing change from Indian cuisine.

In the afternoon, explore the magnificent Summer Palace, China’s largest imperial garden. Walk along Kunming Lake, cross the iconic Seventeen- Arch Bridge, and wander through the Long Corridor, famous for its 10,000+ hand-painted artworks.

Make a brief photo stop at the Bird’s Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (National Aquatics Center)—two architectural landmarks of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. BEIJING - XIAN

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then check out and transfer to Beijing Railway Station to board your high-speed train to Xi’an (approx. 4.5 hours). China’s high-speed trains are known for their comfort, punctuality, and the beautiful countryside views along the way.

Upon arrival in Xi’an—one of China’s oldest and most culturally rich imperial capitals—enjoy lunch at a local Indian restaurant. Afterward, begin your city tour with a visit to Ming & Qing Street, a charming pedestrian street filled with traditional architecture, souvenir shops, and local snack stalls.

Next, explore Xi’an’s Drum Tower and Bell Tower, two iconic ancient structures that were once used to keep time for the city. You may climb the towers to see the traditional drums and bells up close and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding old town.

XIAN

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before departing for the Terracotta Army (including a one-way battery car ride)—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most extraordinary archaeological discoveries. Marvel at thousands of life-sized terracotta warriors, horses, and chariots, each uniquely crafted over 2,000 years ago to protect Emperor Qin Shi Huang in the afterlife.

After your visit, stop at a Crockery Factory, where you’ll learn about Xi’an’s traditional pottery-making techniques such as celadon and black- glazed ceramics. You can also browse beautifully handcrafted bowls, vases, and tea sets.

Enjoy a Chinese lunch at a restaurant near the Terracotta Army.

In the afternoon, make a photo stop at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a 7th-century Buddhist landmark built to enshrine sacred scriptures brought from India by the monk Xuanzang. Admire its elegant architecture and the serene surroundings of the pagoda square.

In the evening, enjoy the spectacular Tang Dynasty Show—a signature cultural experience in Xi’an. Held at the renowned Tang Dynasty Palace (established in 1988), the show features mesmerizing storytelling, graceful choreography, traditional dance and acting, all accompanied by a live orchestra. The performance is paired with Tang Dynasty–inspired fusion cuisine prepared by master chefs, making it an unforgettable highlight of your visit.

XIAN - CHONGQING

After breakfast, check out from your Xi’an hotel and transfer to the train station to board a high-speed train to Chongqing (approx. 5 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local Indian restaurant. Known as China’s “Mountain City,” Chongqing is famous for its steep terrain, vibrant culture, and bold culinary traditions.

Begin your sightseeing with a visit to Ciqikou Ancient Town, a beautifully preserved 1,000-year-old heritage town featuring traditional wooden architecture, stone-paved streets, charming tea houses, and stalls offering local snacks and handicrafts.

Next, head to Liziba Station, renowned for its unique “train-through- building” design. Watch as the light rail train passes through the 19th floor of a residential building—an iconic example of Chongqing’s creative urban planning.

In the evening, visit Hongya Cave, a riverside complex inspired by traditional stilted architecture. Its illuminated façade, lively shops, food stalls, and scenic river views create a memorable atmosphere.

CHONGQING

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before setting off on a full-day excursion to Wulong Karst National Park (approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Chongqing). This UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its breathtaking limestone formations and dramatic natural scenery. The main attraction here is the Three Natural Bridges—Tianlong, Qinglong, and Heilong—three enormous stone arch bridges formed over millions of years through natural erosion.

Enjoy a simple local Chinese lunch at a restaurant near the park.

In the late afternoon, drive back to Chongqing. Conclude your day with a delicious dinner at a local Indian restaurant before returning to your hotel for a restful night.

CHONGQING - ZHANGJIAJIE

After breakfast, board a train to Zhangjiajie (approx. 4 hours), a destination famed for its surreal sandstone peaks that inspired the floating mountains in the movie Avatar. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Tianmen Mountain, one of the region’s most iconic natural wonders.

Begin your ascent with a ride on the world’s longest cable car—a 7.5 km journey with an elevation gain of 1,279 meters—offering spectacular views of misty peaks, winding roads, and lush landscapes. At the summit, experience the thrilling glass skywalk, perfect for adventure lovers, and visit the famed Tianmen Cave (“Heaven’s Gate”), a massive natural arch carved into the mountain.

ZHANGJIAJIE

Start your morning with breakfast before heading to the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge—the world’s longest and highest glass-bottom bridge, stretching 536 meters in length and suspended 280 meters above the canyon floor. Walk across this spectacular structure for an exhilarating experience, with clear views of the deep canyon and lush peaks below (rest assured, the reinforced glass is exceptionally strong!).

Next, continue to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the iconic landscape that inspired the floating mountains in Avatar. Take the Bailong Elevator, the world’s tallest outdoor elevator at 326 meters, up to the mountaintop. From there, follow scenic trails such as the Avatar Hallelujah Mountain route, where you’ll encounter towering sandstone pillars draped in greenery and often wrapped in mystical morning mist.

Enjoy a local Chinese lunch at a restaurant inside the park. Spend the afternoon exploring more of the forest park’s breathtaking viewpoints before descending by cable car.

ZHANGJIAJIE - SHANGHAI

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast before visiting the serene Baofeng Lake, a picturesque spot surrounded by lush peaks and crystal-clear waters— a perfect farewell to Zhangjiajie’s stunning natural scenery. After enjoying the tranquil atmosphere, have a relaxing lunch and proceed to the airport for your flight to Shanghai (approx. 2 hours).

Upon arrival in Shanghai, China’s most modern and cosmopolitan city, transfer to your hotel for check-in and rest.

SHANGHAI

Begin your day with hotel breakfast. Then dive into Shanghai’s mix of old and new. First, visit Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden built in the 16th century—wander through pavilions, lotus ponds, and rock gardens, and admire the intricate wood carvings and tile work. Explore the Yu Garden Bazaar next, a bustling market outside the garden where you can buy traditional Chinese crafts, snacks and souvenirs. Next, visit a Silk Factory—learn about China’s 5,000-year history of silk production, from silkworm rearing to weaving, and browse high- quality silk products (scarves, clothing, or bedding). Enjoy your lunch at a local Indian restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Shanghai Museum, home to one of China’s largest collections of ancient art—see bronze vessels, porcelain, calligraphy, and paintings spanning 5,000 years. Then, tour Nanjing Road, Shanghai’s famous shopping street (1.5 km long) with a mix of historic department stores, modern malls, and international brands. End the afternoon at The Bund, a waterfront historic district lined with 52 colonial-era buildings (neoclassical, Gothic, and Art Deco styles)—walk along the promenade and take photos of the Pudong skyline across the Huangpu River (home to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Shanghai Tower). SHANGHAI

After breakfast, depart for a day trip to Zhujiajiao Water Town, a charming 1,700-year-old village often called the “Venice of the East.” Enjoy a peaceful boat ride through its narrow canals and admire the town’s 36 ancient stone bridges, traditional wooden houses, and picturesque waterfront views. After exploring, return to Shanghai and enjoy lunch at a local Indian restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Shanghai Zoo, home to more than 6,000 animals— including giant pandas, tigers, elephants, and various primates—making it a relaxing and enjoyable stop for nature and wildlife lovers.
